In the Rough

I went to see Anna Nalick last night- which was really good. I have been living in her CD lately - I resonate with her feelings even though hers are directed at ex-boyfriends and how she has been hurt by them - I still get the core of what she is saying and it has become my heart crying out to God.
This song means a lot to me in this moment. I really want to make sure I value my friends - treat them as diamonds. And I resonate with the last line. I am shining more lately...even in the midst of heartache and sadness. I guess that is what happens when you treat yourself as valuable and not let others walk on you.
